Model History: The Seiko King Quartz line represents one of Seiko’s most important milestones of the 1970s, positioned just below Grand Quartz and designed to bring high-precision quartz technology into refined, everyday luxury watches. Introduced in the mid-1970s, King Quartz models were produced in Japan and featured in-house, high-grade quartz movements that significantly outperformed standard quartz watches of the era.
