This is a Gaja Barbaresco 2021 red wine from my private cellar. The Gaja winery was founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja in the town of Barbaresco, in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, Italy. Aging potential: although already appreciable, most critics recommend aging it for five years or more to reach its full potential. Recommended drinking window: 2025-2045. The family has maintained its winemaking tradition for several generations; currently, it is managed by Angelo Gaja, who revolutionized the winery after joining in 1961. Under Angelo Gaja's leadership, modern practices for the time were introduced: rigorous vineyard selection, yield reduction, use of new French oak barrels, and careful aging, all with the aim of raising the quality and international reputation of Piedmont wines. Always stored in a private, temperature-controlled cellar. The wine will be sent by registered post with tracking number.
