Schmuckschatulle - 1850–1900 – Napoleon III – Blumenmuster – Frankreich - Messing, Kristall

Antique Jewellery Box - Napoleon III - c. 1850–1900, France, Glass and Gilt Bronze Elegant and refined Napoleon III jewellery box from France, dating to the second half of the 19th century. This charming miniature vitrine stands on four sculpted feet and is richly decorated with gilt bronze mounts, including garlands, floral motifs and decorative drops. The box is fitted with clear glass panels on all sides and a hinged glass lid, allowing the contents to be beautifully displayed. The interior is lined with a deep red velvet, creating a warm and luxurious contrast to the cool glass and golden bronze. A perfect piece for storing jewellery, keepsakes or small collectibles, and equally lovely as a decorative object on a dressing table or in a display cabinet. Condition: Good antique condition, with visible patina, light wear and oxidation to the bronze consistent with age. The glass panels are intact. Interior velvet shows age related wear. Please review the photos carefully, as they form part of the description. Details: Origin: France Period: Napoleon III, circa 1850–1900 Materials: Glass, gilt bronze, velvet Style: Napoleon III, Second Empire A romantic and timeless antique, full of 19th century French charm. Shipping: Shipping within 1 to 3 business days after payment, securely packaged with track and trace and insurance. Note to US residents: due to extra processing costs of 150 euro plus the increase of tax tariffs on top of the shipping costs, Beau Brocante unfortunately had to raise the shipping costs to cover this. I am really sorry to all my much appreciated US customers. Since this is an auction platform, it's impossible to predict the outcome of the auction and we have to ensure covering costs.
