The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement (with Incabloc shock-proofing) which is working nicely. The watch itself measures 36mm wide excluding the crowns and 40mm high. The main body of the case is chromium plated and the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is a sunburst brushed finish to the front while the sides and the bezel have a polished finish. There is a surface marking to the case but overall the condition is good. The case back states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The signed blue dial is in its original finish, with lighter blue pinstripe detailing. Original hands, centre seconds hand, date display (not quickset) and orange alarm hand. The alarm hand is set by pulling the top crown out and moving it so that the alarm hand moves backwards. Push in and wind this crown to power up the alarm and then pull the crown out, and leave it out, when you want to set the alarm.
