An elegant Chinese famille rose porcelain 'Floral' dish pot. Qing dynasty (大清), Qianlong (1735-1796, 乾隆) period, mid 18th c. Not common model, difficult to find.
Finely potted with strongly flared rim to simmulate flower-shape, decorated in bright enamels to the interior with a garden scene depicting an oversized violet peony on the left; brown and gilded tree with flowers and fruits on the right; rocks in sepia in lower part. Border with three flower-sprays. Exterior not decorated, nice V-shaped foot-rim.

Dimensions: diameter - 23 cm; height - 2 cm. Weight – 358 g.
Conditions report: good condition for the age, fritting to the edge and a small chip with associated hardly visible short hairline from the edge only. Minor wear to the painted decoration, particularly sepia. Tested with strong white light. Check pictures for details.
