A beautiful and highly collectible Meissen porcelain mocha set in the classic “Rich Dragon” pattern, also known as “Court Dragon” (Reicher Drache). The set consists of six mocha cups with matching saucers, each decorated in a different color variation: Shades of orange (iron red) and gold, green and gold, blue and gold, pink and gold, black and gold, and one cup is multi-colored in green, blue, pink, and gold. This mixed-color composition makes the set especially attractive and less common. All pieces are beautifully hand-painted with the dragon motif and finished with fine gilding along the rims and cup handles. The porcelain has softly shaped forms and an elegant overall look, made to the high standards Meissen is known for. All pieces are marked on the base with the blue crossed swords mark and some with additional markings. There are no cancellation lines through the swords, confirming first-quality production. The set is from the 20th century.
