Parker Sonnet Premier Green Laque GT 18K/750 golden F-Nib In 1998, Parker introduced a new "top class Sonnet," the Sonnet Premier, all of which had wide cap bands and an engraved solid 18K/750 gold nib. A classic refined Parker style, a timeless symbol of elegance with every detail expertly executed. Four new Premier Laque designs with a watery swirl pattern were offered, produced from 1998 to 2002: Blue Laque, Green Laque, Red Laque, Solid Black Laque. The pen offered here is the rare Green Laque version, with an 18K/750 F-nib. The cap and body are made of brass, finished with multiple layers of lacquer to achieve a deep glossy green/black swirl pattern. The clip and cap band, engraved with: "PARKER SONNET FRANCE A.II," are 23K gold-plated. "A.II" indicates that this pen was produced in the second quarter of 2002, the year in which its production was also discontinued. The F-Nib is clearly stamped with the name Parker along with 18K and 750, next to which is the diamond-shaped stamp with an arrow between the two p's (look at image 2)!!! This is one of the numerous very important details because this pen is sometimes counterfeited. The fake pen only shows a diamond-shaped stamp with a cross. If you find this type of stamp on a pen, unfortunately, you will be scammed!!! I could list many more differences, but then my ad would become too extensive.
