The design depicts a chrysanthemum with a double-layered petal structure. The inner surface is composed of petals executed in the nanako pattern, while the outer section consists of sukashi petals. It is a very elegant design that gives an impression of dignity. It is thinner than average, and the shape of the seppadai resembles the Kyo tradition. This piece is mumei, but attributed to the Umetada tradition. It passed Hozon Tosogu certification in 2023.
