This rare character doll was made by J.D. Kestner in 1915.
She is marked with the number 249.
Her bisque head unfortunately has hairline cracks in several places - see photo.
The brown eyes are fixed.
The pretty brown wig is firmly glued to the head (probably to make the cracks more stable).
The jointed original body. One hand is missing 3 fingers - see photo and there is cracked varnish.
The rubbers are quite tight.
The doll is approx. 55 cm tall.
