Superb belt driven turntable by Sony, model TTS-3000. It was actually this professional model mid sixties that launched Sony on the upper end of the turntable market. The turntable is mounted on satin walnut plinth. The arm is by Fidelity research, model FR-54. The cartridge is from Nagaoka, model 87-39 MKII. Complete set I beautiful condition! Prior to this auction I installed a new belt. So turntable good to go! The turntable is multi voltage so can be adjust to your local requirement (now set at 230v). Description The TTS3000 employs a slow speed servo-controlled motor to drive the platter. The use of a slow speed (300rpm) motor eliminates much of the noise and rumble that originates in mechanical speed-reducing systems. This unique servo system effectively compares motor speed with a very stable frequency reference. Any error in motor speed results in a correction in the current supplied to the motor.
