Specializing in Shōwa Landscape Prints (昭和風景版画), Miyata was a leading figure among "regional landscape documentarians" in Japan’s local print scene. His works are characterized by a decorative style of flat color blocks + soft hues; critics have described his approach as "replacing lines with planes, plain and concise in style". This piece uses color blocks and bold black outlines for composition, blending the texture of traditional woodblock prints with the simplicity of modern design while preserving the cultural identity of its regional theme. The artist’s signature and seal appear at the bottom-right corner of the work. Due to age, the paper shows natural oxidation-induced yellowing, but the overall condition remains excellent.
