Bronze/Orichalcum Sestertius of Lucilla, AD 164-169, Rome mint.
Obverse: LVCILLAE AVG ANTONINI AVG F (legend partially visible - exact variant to be confirmed), "To Lucilla Augusta, daughter of Antoninus Augustus" - Diademed and draped bust of Lucilla right.
Reverse: CERES AVG S C, Ceres (goddess of agriculture) standing left, holding grain ears in right hand and cornucopia in left hand.
Reference: RIC III Marcus Aurelius 1756 or 1757 (under Lucilla) or similar variants; Sear 5488; Cohen 6.
Weight: 24g Diameter: 30mm.
Portrait visible with reasonable details. Bust and diadem visible. Ceres figure on reverse clear and identifiable. Both attributes well visible. Obverse legend partially visible (LVCILLA and ANTONINI visible). Nice green patina with some surface deposits. Moderate wear but good overall preservation.
