Hexagonal vase in very fine, thin-walled, lightweight ceramic with the Harley Jones signature for Wilton Pottery (1923-1934).
In Art Deco Egyptian revival style, following the discovery of Tuthankamun's tomb in 1922. A rare piece: I have found no parallels for it or anything similar in the Wilton Pottery repertoire, which usually produced lustre wares or chinoiserie in this period.
The walls are very thin. The top of rim of the vase has been repaired (see photos) but cannot be seen when the lid is in place.
