Art Deco Herz-Vase - Patinierte Bronze - Japan - Taishō Zeit (1912-1926)
An attractive patinated bronze vase decorated in an Art Deco style.
The surface finished in a soft grey patina and adorned with a relief design of stylized hearts, outlined with inlaid silver lines. The geometric pattern alternates between dark grey and deep red panels.
Of barrel-shaped form, the body rises to a disc-shaped neck that transitions into a gently flaring mouth. The interior of the neck is finely incised with concentric lines. Unsigned.
Period: Japan – Taishô period (1912–1926).
Dimensions:
Height 21 cm, Width 13 cm.
In very good condition, with a fine aged patina consistent with age. Please refer to the photos for a clear condition reference.
Complete with a fitted wooden tomobako 共箱 (storage box).
