1730c Brass The Royal Grand Master Masonic Seal As most of you know I’m redesigning my temple( more like rebuilding as the original was destroyed by the fire in 1940, yes the Blitz era) this seal is from 1720c and was find ( with other 10) when I was digging for new foundations. Such a gem and I’m happy to share this one with you- only one going to public auction. ….Everyone looking for gold, silver but quick reminder that Freemasonry was about simplicity on the beginning- simple brass tools, brass plates, iron, simple jewels, and simple tracing boards made of cloth…. and simple seals that have been used to wax sealing our documents. To be honest with you I’m using my 1720 seal made of brass to seal my letters-not some fancy gold with funky stones. One of the many Used by my family for centuries to seal important letters and documents...
