The collection consists of commercial tourist and documentary slides produced on Kodak Color Film, professionally mounted and titled, many with captions in English, French and German. The slides are arranged in 7 transparent protective sleeves of various sizes. Main themes and locations included: – Turkey: Istanbul, Izmir, Edirne (panoramas, mosques, Bosphorus views, streets, ports, historical monuments) – Italy: Pompeii archaeological site (Forum, Basilica, Amphitheatre, Vettii House, temples and general views) – Spain: Arte Mozárabe “Beato” de Girona, a complete educational series depicting medieval religious manuscript illustrations Several sets are complete or near-complete and clearly numbered, originally intended for educational or touristic projection use.
