From: Detective Conan, Seasons 1–3 (1996–1999) This piece is an authentic original one-of-a-kind Japanese animation cel, hand-painted by studio artists at TMS Entertainment and used directly in the creation of the anime Detective Conan. As an original production material, this artwork is unique, with no duplicates in existence. Created for internal studio use under the direction of TMS Entertainment during the original broadcast production period of Detective Conan between 1996 and 1999. A Certificate of Authenticity will be included with your purchase. This original animation cel features Conan Edogawa, the iconic young detective at the heart of the series, depicted against a richly colored background that reflects the refined visual style of Detective Conan’s early seasons. Production materials from Seasons 1–3 are especially sought after due to their classic hand-painted cel animation era and their importance in establishing the long-running franchise. This item is presented interleaved with MicroChamber paper, an archival material used to protect artwork by reducing harmful acids and paint fumes which damage animation cels over time. We are currently the only seller in Japan offering anime cels presented in this manner. Please note that this is a vintage item.
