Masao Kimura (born 1922, Okayama Prefecture) is a Japanese woodblock print artist who devoted his career to the study and revival of traditional multi-color woodblock printing.
He served in art education administration before fully committing to printmaking, held numerous solo exhibitions, founded the Setouchi Printmakers Association, and exhibited internationally, including in Paris.
His works often draw inspiration from classical Japanese culture, textiles, and performing arts, rendered with a modern artistic sensibility.
