This is an authentic Japanese wood-carved Noh mask, titled “Jikijin” (地神面), a traditional character used in classical Noh theatre. The mask is crafted from wood, finished with urushi lacquer and hand-applied coloration, and shows the refined expression and dignified presence characteristic of traditional Japanese performing arts. According to the enclosed documentation and box inscription, this piece is associated with Toraya Art Craft (虎谷美術工芸), a workshop known for traditional craftsmanship. The original paper storage box is included and bears calligraphy-style markings. A printed explanatory leaflet is also present.
