In 1981 he founded, together with Dennis Groves and Caroline Thorman, the design office 'One Off' and he designed the interior of the Belgo restaurant in London, the Adidas store in Paris and the futuristic foyer of The Opera House in Tel Aviv. Additionally, Arad mainly designed seats (Kartell, DSR, Vitra) and he worked for other big names such as Artemide and Alessi.
