Andrey Kovalchuk (1959) - Skulptur, Abduction 6/8 - 29 cm - Bronze - 1989

Kidnapping Andrey Nikolayevich Kovalchuk (Russian: Андрей Николаевич Ковальчук; Moscow, September 7, 1959, Soviet Union) is a Russian sculptor. Over the years, the work and talent of Andrey Nikolayevich Kovalchuk earned him respect and a prestigious title. Sculptor, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, and the man behind the series of portraits of Russian historical figures, including poets, artists, public figures and religious leaders. Drawing on the traditions of realist art, he also creates portraits and small-scale sculptures. Andrey Kovalchuk transforms the beauty of natural forms into impressive works of art, emphasizing the clarity of thought characteristic of classical sculpture. Andrei Kovalchuk's works can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery and other Russian museums, as well as in private collections in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States, Japan and other countries. His small-scale sculptures are very sellable, at the beginning of his work they were only produced in numbered, limited editions. He has not made small sculptures for years, so the appearance of a piece at auctions is considered special. Due to the current war situation, his works are almost inaccessible. He produced a total of 8 pieces from his work entitled Kidnapping, serial number 6 is included in the auction. The statue is original, not a copy! From a private collection! We corresponded personally with the artist, where he confirms the genesis and adventurous history of the work. This correspondence will be handed over to the buyer, where he can personally visit the artist's office! The work of art also appears on the artist's personal website: http://studiokovalchuk.ru/indoor/15-skulptura-umykanie.html Beautiful condition! Not restored. No flaws, no cracks! The product is always carefully packed and can be tracked!
