ELBAITE auf Cleavelandite und Muskovit - Höhe: 5.2 cm - Breite: 8.2 cm- 144 g - (1)
It might not look it, but this piece does not have any schorl it is all elbaite!!!. But it has such a dark body tone that unless heavily backlit, the color can't be fully realized. In reality, these crystals are a mix of green, brown, and blue with very sharp color zones that change along the full length of the tourmaline crystals, which are very lustrous and are set randomly on top of a mass of chaotic mica and blue cleavelandite crystals. An odd one for sure, but definitely a piece that grows on you, particularly if you own a good flashlight.
