By Masao Nose (1911-1981), a Japanese metalsmith. He was selected for numerous categories at the prestigious Nitten Fine Arts Exhibition (Nitten Fine Arts Exhibition), Japan's prestigious fine arts exhibition.
He is a leading Japanese metalsmith, and later served as a judge.
He created animal and Buddhist statues, among other works. His refined forms are a defining feature of this metalwork.
