Sulphites 2013 is the first year from which the Sorì Tildin changes its name from Nebbiolo doc to Barbaresco. Produced with Nebbiolo grapes produced from the "Sorì Tildin" vineyard in Barbaresco. This vineyard takes its name from the dialectal term "Sorì", which in Piedmontese indicates the top of a hill facing south and "Tildin", the nickname given to Clotilde Rey, grandmother of Angelo Gaja. Wine of great elegance and finesse, with an intense purple red colour, it presents itself on the nose with a fine and complex bouquet, with fruity aromas of blackberry and berries, red fruit jam and hints of coffee, liquorice, spices and dried fruit. With a velvety, warm and soft flavour, with fine and elegant tannins that give it nobility and great structure, persistently combines perfectly with grilled red meats, game, preparations with the famous Bianco d'Alba Truffle and aged cheeses.
