Very attractive antique handmade wool Afghan Ersari rug possibly circa 1880 measuring 180 x 110 cm ( 5.9 x 3.6 ft ). The pattern consists of a repeating theme of motifs known as “guls however in peach and copper colours. This rare antique rug is very decorative and has very fine foundation compared to other Afghan rugs with very rare copper and peachy colours. Cleaned and washed rug is in good overall condition with minor localised wear and couple of small repairs.
