Dear Bidders, I'm offering here a vintage decorative set by Rosenthal, designed by Bjørn Wiinblad, from the iconic Quatre Couleurs series, produced circa late 1960s–1970s. The set consists of 2 vases, 2 candlesticks and 1 bowl, made of fine glazed porcelain and richly decorated with hand-applied 24-karat gold and graphic geometric motifs in warm brown and ochre tones. The design combines Scandinavian modernism, mid-century aesthetics and Wiinblad’s distinctive decorative expression, resulting in an elegant yet artistic ensemble. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Rosenthal, founded in 1879 in Selb (Germany), is known for high-quality porcelain and long standing collaborations with leading designers of the 20th century — theirs is a legacy of merging art and industrial design in timeless creations. Bjørn Wiinblad (1918–2006) was a Danish designer and artist renowned for his whimsical, decorative style.
