[Description]
"The Tidings of Spring. An Elegant Kyoto Matcha Bowl."
This is a beautiful Japanese Matcha tea bowl (Chawan) crafted by Heian Soho,
a skilled potter of traditional Kyo-yaki / Kiyomizu-yaki (Kyoto ceramics).
[The Motif: Ume-dayori]
The title "Ume-dayori" translates to "Tidings of Plum Blossoms."
In Japan, the plum blossom is the very first flower to bloom while snow is still on the ground, symbolizing resilience, purity, and the arrival of Spring.
The bowl features hand-painted plum branches with delicate white and red flowers, elegantly accented with real gold overglaze (Kinsai).
It is a perfect representation of Kyoto's refined aesthetic.
[Authenticity]
Artist: Heian Soho (Marked on the bottom)
Includes: Original signed wooden box (Tomobako) and traditional protective cloth.
[Condition]
Excellent condition. Perfect for a tea ceremony collection or as a stunning display piece.
