寺島春響 Terashima Syunkyo (1898-1946) Studied under Nishiyama Suishō and belonged to the Seikō-sha group he presided over. First selected for the Imperial Exhibition in 1933, he subsequently exhibited at the Imperial Exhibition, the New Culture Exhibition, and the Seikō-sha Exhibition, demonstrating his prowess. He specialised in realistic flower-and-bird paintings and animal paintings. with signature 'Syunkyo saku' 春響作 A softly composed hanging scroll by Terashima Syunkyo (寺島春響, 1898–1946), titled Pine Tree and Two Sparrows.
