The surface displays the characteristic smooth finish of Japanese lacquer, a material widely employed in the decorative arts for its elegance and durability. Inside, the original removable metal container is preserved. ---The hibachi is in very good overall condition. There is some wear to the lacquer and light marks from the metal container.
