Licinius I (vers 265 – 325 apr. J.-C.) fut empereur romain de 308 à 324. Allié puis rival de Constantin le Grand, il participa à l’édit de Milan qui accorda la liberté de culte aux chrétiens. Licinius I (c. 265 – 325 AD) ruled as Roman emperor from 308 to 324. Initially an ally, later an enemy of Constantine the Great, he co-issued the Edict of Milan granting religious freedom. Defeated by Constantine, he was executed in 325.
