Mineral specimen collection consisting of six representative ore samples from several historic Japanese mining regions. The set includes specimens from the famous Sado Gold Mine Sado Kinzan in Niigata Prefecture, one of the most important gold and silver mining sites in Japan. Each specimen is preserved in an individual compartment with cotton padding and labeled in Japanese. The minerals represent different types of ore historically mined in Japan, including gold–silver ore, ferruginous quartz, chalcopyrite, pyrite, kuroko ore, and lead–zinc ore.
