Japanese Bread Knife – 23.5 cm – Molybdenum Vanadium Steel – Made in Tsubame, Japan
This Japanese bread knife offers an excellent balance between quality and affordability, making it an ideal first bread slicer for both home cooks and collectors of Japanese kitchen tools.
The blade is crafted from Japanese-made molybdenum vanadium stainless steel with an elegant mirror finish. This finish not only enhances the knife’s appearance but also helps reduce friction when slicing.
The serrated edge is carefully finished by skilled knife craftsmen in Tsubame, Niigata, a region internationally renowned for metalworking and blade production.
With a 23.5 cm blade length, the knife easily slices through standard loaves of bread as well as wide baguettes. It works equally well on soft freshly baked bread and crusty French bread, producing clean and smooth slices without crushing the texture.
