Satsuma-Keramikvase aus Japan, Zeitraum ca. 1900–1910, mit blassgelber Körper, Crackle-Glasur und polychromen Goldbemalungen, Wisteria oben und Chrysanthemen unten, Höhe 15,5 cm, Breite 8 cm, Tiefe 8 cm, Gewicht 273 g, in gutem Zustand, geliefert mit einer Paulownia-Holzbox.

Satsumakabin 薩摩花瓶(さつまかびん)|
This vase features a pale yellow body covered with a colorless glaze and a network of fine crackles (kannyu) across the surface. It is decorated with elaborate nishikide (polychrome and gold) enamels. Wisteria flowers are depicted on the upper section, while chrysanthemums are painted on the lower section. The base is marked with the Shimazu family crest (a circle with a cross), who ruled Kagoshima Prefecture for approximately 700 years, alongside the "Satsuma" inscription.
