Both pieces are high-quality modern creations from the world-renowned Usaburo Kokeshi workshop. The title "Reishun" (麗春) evokes the refined beauty and freshness of springtime. These dolls showcase Usaburo's signature techniques, combining hand-painting with delicate wood carving (relief) and pyrography (burnt accents) to create a three-dimensional effect. The bodies are decorated with vibrant red and white plum blossoms (梅, Ume).
