An elegant Kutani ware incense burner by Kutani Mitsuru, crafted in a rounded form resting on three small feet. The surface features finely carved vertical ridges with a luminous gradient glaze in shades of blue, turquoise, and violet. The lid is adorned with a sculptural plum branch finial, and delicately pierced openings shaped like plum blossoms allow incense smoke to softly escape. The base bears the artist’s signature, and the original tomobako (wooden box) is included.
