Dial and Hands
The watch features a classic silver sunburst dial adorned with applied, faceted baton hour markers and an applied Omega logo at the twelve o'clock position. The typography is crisp, with "OMEGA" printed below the logo and "SWISS MADE" positioned at the bottom edge. Upon close inspection, the dial surface exhibits minor, scattered spotting and subtle age marks consistent with its mid-century origins, retaining a highly attractive overall appearance. The most striking visual characteristic of this dial is the dauphine hands, which display heavy, even oxidation and a deep textural patina. The movement features 17 jewels and is visibly stamped with the serial number 16849710, dating its production to the late 1950s. The caliber designation 284 is clearly marked beneath the balance wheel. The movement presents exceptionally well visually, with clean bridges and crisp engravings.
