Eine besondere Sammler-Laterne? Actually it's a lighter. A special collector's lighter, Déniel's, is offered for auction, a classic "Lift-Arm" type. The piece dates from the interwar period (1930s-1940s), being a symbol of the mechanical elegance of the Art Deco era. This lighter is not just a decorative object, but a precision instrument that has been kept in perfect working order.

Manual "Lift-Arm" type system. The tilting arm rises fluidly, revealing the wick, and the toothed wheel produces a strong and constant spark.

Body made of solid brass, finished with a protective layer of chrome/nickel.
Industrial aesthetics with a geometric pattern of parallel vertical lines, typical of the Art Deco period.

Gasoline-based system (liquid fuel). The tank is watertight, and access for filling and changing the stone is through the two massive screws on the base.
