Highlights include:
Hungarian Philatelic Correspondence (the star of the lot):
Envelope and two original typed letters from Mihály Székely, Budapest, actively trading “Z-stiketten” (Z-labels / cinderellas) with other collectors in the early 1950s. Includes his personal letter offering Hungarian labels in exchange and a printed international Z-stiketten exchange chain letter with participant addresses. Rare and attractive insight into postwar stamp/label trading clubs.
Vatican Aerogramme (1950):
Beautiful illustrated aerogramme sent by Fr. Ferdinand Pawlowski O.F.M. from Rome to Poland, with nice Vatican airmail cancel.
Italian Airmail Covers to Argentina:
Two attractive covers with good airmail frankings (including Pegasus and other airmail stamps) sent to Buenos Aires. One prominently mentions routing “Par dirigeable ‘Graf Zeppelin’”.
Andorra Rocket Mail:
1962 commemorative cover for the Zucker Rocket flight (Erster Zucker-Raketenstart in Andorra) with special cachet and stamp.
India:
Two covers including a British India 4a stamp on cover with clear Anand-Town cancel and a later airmail cover.
Other countries: Poland (including a 1968 flown Express cover), Yugoslavia, and additional European airmail items.
