“This sculpture depicts Dante – my dog – who is a central figure in my personal mythology. The contrast of geometric shapes and metal screw heads represents a fusion of contemporary art and traditional motifs, alluding to ancient cultures where dogs were seen as guardians of the underworld.
The sculpture is made of rustic, charred wood; the material itself evokes primal forces – burned, scarred, yet resilient – much like the myths that shape our inner worlds. Dante is also the guardian of my subconscious, traveling through cultures and minds.
This piece captures not only the physical form of the dog, but also expresses the emotional depth of our bond, evoking systems of belief and mythology.”

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gabor M. Szoke international anerkannter Bildhauer und zeitgenössischer Künstler, der vor allem für seine monumentalen, industriell gearbeiteten TierSkulpturen bekannt ist.
Der Künstler wurde 1984 in Budapest, Ungarn, geboren. Er studierte an der Ungarischen Universität der Bildenden Künste und an der Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Mailand. Trotz seines jungen Alters besitzt er mehr als 100 Kunstwerke weltweit auf drei Kontinenten, die alle zu einem definierenden und emblematischen Element ihrer Umgebung geworden sind. Seine Kunstwerke finden sich in den fortschrittlichsten und markantesten Bereichen öffentlicher Plätze und Institutionen, wie dem Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta vor dem CNN-Hauptquartier, im Herzen von Moskau oder in der Sammlung des Königs von Bahrain. Er hält den Rekord für die größte Pferdeskulptur in Europa und die größte Vogel-Skulptur der Welt. Eines seiner bekanntesten Werke ist der Atlanta Falcon, entworfen für das neue Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, der diesen Rekord mit einer Flügelspanne von 72 Fuß übertrifft. Seine Kreationen bestehen aus Edelstahl und Bronze.
