Moneda de plata de 8 Reales acuñada en la ceca de Ciudad de México bajo el reinado de Carlos IV, con busto drapeado del monarca orientado a derecha, de estilo neoclásico y ejecución sobria característica de la numismática borbónica española de comienzos del siglo XIX. El reverso presenta el escudo coronado de armas españolas entre las Columnas de Hércules, con los característicos listones y leyendas reales. El ejemplar conserva buen detalle general en cabello, busto y escudo, mostrando desgaste moderado compatible con circulación avanzada.
