A beautifully preserved, authentic Soviet lacquer box depicting a scene from Pyotr Ershov’s famous fairy tale, "The Little Humpbacked Horse" ("Конёк-Горбунок").
The lid features a highly detailed, vibrant miniature painting showing Ivan sleeping alongside his magical horses, while a figure holds a glowing Firebird feather that illuminates the night scene with radiant golden rays. The composition is framed by an elegant, ornate gold-leaf scroll border with subtle red and green accents.

Excellent vintage condition with a high-gloss finish. The hinge-free detachable lid fits perfectly. Complete with its rare, original factory paper label attached, proving its authenticity, production date, and grading (1st Quality / Сорт 1).
