Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
Reliquiar mural rayonnant de dévotion, conventual workers from late 18th to early 19th century, presenting in its center a composition adorned with delicate metal paperolles and multiple relics of saints identified by handwritten tituli.
Relics textiles or mineral, no human remains.
The central medallion with a radiant heart decor is surrounded by 12 relics arranged as a crown, in a glory surround composed of alternating silvered and gilded rays and relief angel heads.
The back preserves its ancient ecclesiastical seal in red wax with original silk ribbon, guaranteeing the integrity of the reliquary.
Origin probable: Southern Germany / Austria.
Period: late 18th – early 19th century.
Condition:
Good general condition with wear from use, small deformations and minor oxidation. Ancient seal present on the back. A few tituli barely legible due to the fineness of the work and the old glass.
