A charming and whimsical set of 5 original ceramic chopstick rests (hashioki) shaped like reclining rabbits, crafted by the noted Japanese ceramic doll artist Yagishita Hiroshi (八木下裕).

Each chopstick rest is beautifully hand-formed to depict a white rabbit lounging in a delightfully lazy, humorous pose with an open, surprised facial expression. The inner ears are accented with a soft pink glaze, highlighting the artist's attention to fine detail. This set brings a touch of lighthearted elegance and traditional Japanese warmth to any dining table.

Artist & Authentication: The set comes complete with its original paulownia wooden storage box (Tomobako), which features the handwritten title "兎箸置揃" (Rabbit Chopstick Rest Set) and is hand-signed "八木下裕" (Yagishita Hiroshi) with the artist's red seal on the inside of the lid.

Chopstick Rests: All five pieces are in clean, beautifully preserved condition with no chips, cracks, or signs of repair.

Wooden Box: The original storage box is well-preserved with only minimal natural storage wear.
