Montblanc - Star Meisterstück - 7042 - Unisex - 2000-2010

In this introduction we present a classic of elegant and formal watchmaking, a timepiece that perfectly embodies the aesthetic codes of the renowned manufactory: the Montblanc Star Meisterstück watch (Ref. 7042) in stainless steel.

Compared with other variants of the Star line, this model stands out for an especially clean and refined aesthetics. The rounded case in polished steel is embellished with engravings on both sides: on the left lies the deep inscription "MEISTERSTÜCK", while on the right the name "MONTBLANC" embraces the characteristic onion crown, topped by the unmistakable Montblanc white star emblem. The magnificent silver dial with soleil finish (which creates beautiful radiating light effects) houses elegant applied Roman numerals in steel, feuille hands and the discreet date window positioned at 4:30. To finish the picture, the seconds hand is adorned with a counterweight in the shape of the Montblanc star.

Technical detail of fundamental importance: The watch is powered by a highly precise Swiss Made quartz movement and is ready to wear without any further thoughts or additional expense. As required to guarantee maximum peace of mind for the buyer, the timepiece has just been serviced by a professional watchmaker: the mechanism has been carefully cleaned and oiled, and a new battery has been installed.

The conservational state of the "head" of the watch is excellent: the stainless steel case, the solid case back and the sapphire crystal are polished and well maintained, with only normal and light micro-scratches (hairlines) derived from careful use. In the name of the usual and total transparency, widely documented by the photo set, we note instead that the original Montblanc black leather strap is markedly worn, showing evident signs of wear, creases and darkening (especially on the inner lining in contact with the skin). The sturdy steel pin buckle is original, also branded with the Montblanc star.
