Moonlight doesn’t illuminate—it withholds, revealing only what is ready to be seen. Layers drift like slowed thoughts, touching and retreating. There is no event here, only a suspended moment where something almost happens. I feel a calm that is not empty, but full of unspoken weight. A figure dissolves into space, or perhaps emerges from it. In this stillness, meaning remains uncertain—soft, distant, and quietly inevitable.

Bio.
Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979, Moscow) is a painter and muralist based in Athens, Greece. A pioneer of Russia’s 1990s graffiti scene, his practice evolved toward Color Field painting, blending bold spatial compositions with psychological and emotional depth.
He has exhibited at major institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation, and Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). His works are part of notable collections, including the STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation, and Sofia Trotsenko Collection.
Danilov has held solo shows at Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery, and Reloft Art in Moscow, and has participated in international fairs such as Urban Art Fair (Paris) and Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). His street art projects span over 20 countries, from Hong Kong to Paris and New York.
His work explores themes of emotional perception, ecological fragility, and transformation of personality and the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment, including in the context of emigration. Using techniques such as painting around the edges of the canvas to reflect the hidden emotional layers that frame our conscious experience.
