Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
Set of three early Krenit bowls designed in 1953 by Herbert Krenchel
The bowls we’re manufactured by Glud & Marstrand until 1966.
Krenit’ bowls received a gold medal at the 1954 Milan Triennial Exhibition of Decorative Arts and Modern Architecture in Italy
Measuring h. 6 x d. 12.5 cm
The bowls are unmarked do to being from the earliest production. It was only later they were stamped to prevent copies
Today Normann Copenhagen makes so-called Krenit bowls, but the quality and looks are in no way comparable as they are made from thinly pressed metal with a sprayed on color. Not the rich, thick enamel like the originals
Condition: Overall very good with marks and wear commensurate with age
The blue bowl with minor rim chips to the enamel
