A rare vintage set of two traditional Japanese Yanagiba (sashimi knives), each with its own wooden protective sheath.

This set includes two authentic Japanese single-edged kitchen knives featuring traditional craftsmanship and engraved maker’s marks.

The knife on the left is signed “関孫六 (Seki Magoroku)” on the blade, with an additional “関孫六” brand mark burned into the wooden handle.
Seki Magoroku is one of the well-known names associated with Japanese kitchen knives, especially recognized for its connection to the traditional knife-making area of Seki, Gifu, Japan.

The second knife is signed “登録飛峰特撰 (Registered Hiho Tokusen)”, showing a traditional Japanese maker’s inscription. Its long, narrow blade profile is designed for precise slicing, especially for sashimi preparation and Japanese cuisine.

Both knives come with individual wooden sheaths, making this set especially attractive for collectors of Japanese knives, traditional cooking tools, and vintage craftsmanship.
