A majestic white horse lowers itself toward the water, observing its own reflection. This is not a gesture of submission, but of awareness. Suspended between earth and water, reality and reflection, the animal seems to pause before continuing its journey, transforming an ordinary moment into a universal meditation on identity, resilience, and inner balance.
The horse has long symbolized freedom, nobility, and spiritual strength. Here, these qualities are expressed through stillness rather than motion. Reflection is an original work by Sonny Insinna, created as part of his ongoing exploration of the symbolic relationship between animals and the human condition. Seit 1998 ist Sonny Insinna aktiv und erhielt seine Ausbildung am Liceo Artistico Almeyda. Er schloss sein Studium in Malerei (erster und zweiter Grad) an der Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo ab. Seine Werke sind in öffentlichen Sammlungen und Museen vertreten, darunter das Museo Civico G. Sciortino (Monreale), das Bischöfliche Seminar von Trapani, das Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Stauros (Teramo) sowie das Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art (Pennsylvania, USA).
