​La forma dello strumento di scrittura si ispira alla pagaia con cui Robinson Crusoe cercò di fuggire dall'isola deserta. Il corpo e il cappuccio sono realizzati in pregiata resina sfumata con un effetto radica marrone e nero, che evoca il legno della zattera. La clip, finemente lavorata a forma di piuma, richiama il fedele compagno di avventure di Crusoe, il pappagallo Poll. Gli anelli e la punta sono impreziositi da incisioni che riproducono le decorazioni in filigrana tipiche delle rilegature dei libri del XVIII secolo. Il cappuccio reca incisa la firma dell'autore. ​The shape of the writing instrument is inspired by the paddle Robinson Crusoe used in his attempts to escape the island. The cap and barrel are crafted from precious resin with a brown and black marbled ruthenium-plated effect, evoking the wooden textures of his raft. The clip is beautifully shaped like a feather, a nod to Crusoe's parrot, Poll. The rings and cone feature intricate engravings reminiscent of the 18th-century book ornaments. The cap is adorned with the author's engraved signature. An exquisite collector's item for fine pen enthusiasts.
