Dial and Hands
The dial presents a heavily patinated character resulting from visible moisture damage, displaying significant spotting and staining across the surface. Discoloration is particularly notable around the edges and the heavily degraded, uneven lume plots. Despite the extensive age-related wear, the printed text remains fully legible. The Mercedes-style hands feature degraded and discolored luminous material that matches the dial indices, while their metal surrounds show noticeable oxidation and staining.

Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case retains its distinctive matte sandblasted finish, showing honest wear consistent with its age. Light scratches and handling marks are present on the flanks and lugs, though no major dents or deep gouges are visible. The unidirectional dive bezel exhibits significant plating loss on its gold-tone finish, alongside scratches and wear on the raised numerals and markers, and a darkened lume pip. The gold-tone crown is clearly signed with the TAG Heuer shield logo and shows moderate wear to its knurling and plating. The flat crystal appears clear, presenting only minor surface dust or light marks with no major deep scratches or cracks visible.

Movement
Inside is the quartz caliber 1.88, an ETA-based movement signed by TAG Heuer with seven jewels. The movement appears visually clean, showing no obvious signs of heavy battery leakage or severe corrosion. The movement was serviced on 14 July 2026.

Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed two-tone jubilee-style bracelet, presenting a well-worn character with significant plating degradation. There is heavy plating loss on the gold-tone center links, as well as scratches and scuffs visible across the steel links and the clearly signed TAG Heuer fold-over clasp. The bracelet accommodates a maximum wrist size of 18cm.
